Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market

Next month I will be presenting a new animation project at Clermont-Ferrand’s European Short Film Co-production Forum. I was lucky to be selected as one of 15 projects from across Europe that will have the chance to pitch to industry professionals. For the past year artist Elizabeth Hobbs and I have been developing, I’m OK, an experimental animated short that is inspired by the life and craft of Austrian Expressionist Oskar Kokoschka. I’m OK is an Animate Projects production and is supported by Arts Council England and the Elephant Trust.

Johnno’s Dead will also be making an appearance at Clermont-Ferrand, where it will screen daily in the Lab Competition, the festival’s section for what it terms as ‘jarring films’. It will also be a great opportunity to catch up with the film’s director Chris Shepherd and the team from production company Autour de Minuit who will also be attending the festival.
