Elizabeth Dysart’s Garden

Producer

I worked with artist Carolina Melis to create an animated film inspired by the historic gardens of National Trust property, Ham House and Garden, and the estates 17th century owner, Elizabeth Dysart. The film was made in collaboration with poet Simon Barraclough and historian Michael Ann Mullen, and was produced by Animate Projects.

Working with the team at Ham and House and Garden, Carolina ran creative workshops for the families from Ham Multi-Cultural Women’s Group. Carolina and myself also mentored students from the London College of Communication in the production of a series of short animations inspired by the gardens.

The film was exhibited at Ham House and Garden in Summer 2012.

Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund for Ham House and Garden, Garden of Reason 2012.
